Bengaluru–Hyderabad and Kalaburagi Vande Bharat Trains Get Revised Timings

Indian Railways has revised the timings of four Vande Bharat Express trains running between Bengaluru, Hyderabad (Kacheguda) and Kalaburagi. The Ministry of Railways announced that the schedule changes apply only to trains operated and maintained by the South Western Railway (SWR) zone.

The revised timings affect four services: 20703 Kacheguda-Yesvantpur, 20704 Yesvantpur-Kacheguda, 22231 Kalaburagi-SMVT Bengaluru and 22232 SMVT Bengaluru-Kalaburagi Vande Bharat Express. Railway officials said the changes have been made to improve operational efficiency and better manage train movement on these routes.

As of January 31, 164 Vande Bharat Express services are running across India. The Railways clarified that the schedules of all other Vande Bharat trains remain unchanged.

Changes for Bengaluru-Hyderabad Vande Bharat Trains

The Kacheguda-Yesvantpur Vande Bharat Express (Train No. 20703), which runs on all days except Friday, will now arrive at Hindupur station at 3:55 pm, instead of the earlier arrival time of 3:48 pm.

Similarly, the Yesvantpur-Kacheguda Vande Bharat Express (Train No. 20704) will now arrive at Hindupur at 12:17 pm, replacing the earlier time of 12:08 pm. This train also operates daily except Friday.

These services connect Hyderabad and Bengaluru, providing a fast travel option between the two major cities.

Revised Timings for Bengaluru-Kalaburagi Vande Bharat

The Kalaburagi-SMVT Bengaluru Vande Bharat Express (Train No. 22231), which runs daily except Friday, will now arrive at Sri Sathya Sai Prashanthi Nilayam station at 11:13 am, instead of 11:00 am.

The train will also reach Yelahanka station at 12:58 pm, replacing the earlier arrival time of 12:28 pm.

Meanwhile, the SMVT Bengaluru-Kalaburagi Vande Bharat Express (Train No. 22232), which runs daily except Thursday, will see revised timings at two stations as well. The train will now reach Yelahanka at 3:09 pm instead of 3:05 pm, and Sri Sathya Sai Prashanthi Nilayam at 4:45 pm, replacing the earlier arrival time of 4:23 pm.

Earlier Update for Coimbatore-Bengaluru Vande Bharat

Earlier, Indian Railways also revised the schedule of the Coimbatore-Bengaluru Vande Bharat Express. Train number 20642, which departs from Coimbatore at 7:25 am and reaches Bengaluru Cantonment at 1:45 pm, will have a revised arrival time at Hosur station.

From March 15, the train will reach Hosur at 12:13 pm, instead of the earlier 12:03 pm, according to the South Western Railway.

Passengers travelling on these routes have been advised to check the updated train schedules before planning their journeys.
