Himalayan Siddhaa Akshar's Global Movement Is Redefining The Future of Yoga


In the latest development Akshar Yoga Kendraa claimed to create 21 Guinness World Records in a single day during International Yoga Day celebrations, taking its total number of world records to 42.

The aim of the record setting event was held to promote awareness about Yoga and encourage greater participation in holistic wellness practices. It was held by Himalayan Siddhaa Akshar founder of Akshar Yoga, who said the effort aimed to shed light on Yoga - to add it as a part of discipline for physical, mental and emotional well-being rather than simply pursuing records.

It also added that the event was aligned with this year's International Yoga Day.
It was informed that participants from more than 80 countries - including United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, Germany , France, Japan, Brazil, South Africa, The UAE, Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand took part in the initiative making it one of the largest participating events

The organisers said that the preparation took months for coordinating the event, with participants including healthcare professionals, students, police personnel, senior citizens, and more. Parallelly, Akshar Yoga conducted a Global Online Tratak Meditation programme, which it said attracted participation from over 7,000 people worldwide.

The organisation stated that the initiative was aimed at promoting concentration and mental wellness in an increasingly digital lifestyle.

Himalayan Siddhaa Akshar said yoga should be viewed as a comprehensive system of physical, mental and spiritual development. He also said the organisation intends to expand its teacher-training programmes globally and has set a long-term goal of training one million yoga teachers.
