Fine-tune translated content on Google Translator
New Delhi, Jun 10: It is a known fact that Google Translate has enabled the internet users to quickly translate and understand online content published in other languages; now the Internet giant takes it a step further with the all new Google Translator Toolkit which enables its users to edit and polish translated content before publishing it online.
Google Translator Toolkit is a user-friendly editor that enables the users to give a human touch to the mechanically translated content in order to improve the quality of the content in published languages. The tool was launched on Tuesday, Jun 9 and comes with an additional bag of tools which provides the users with translation search, bilingual dictionaries, and ratings.
Apart from this, the tool is equipped with Transliteration which lets the users create content by typing phonetically using the English keyboard.
Google has integrated with Knol, and Wikipedia and supports document types like Word and HTML. And for professionals the tool has advance features like Terminology and Translation Memory management.
And if you are wondering if it could better. With the system constantly learning from your corrections and creating a virtuous cycle that helps translate into local languages faster, it does literally get 'better'.
