Xerox launches new office software suite

Bangalore, Nov 22: Xerox India Limited today, announced the launch of Xerox Office software suite, a new document output and asset management software suite from its Xerox Global Services (XGS) division.

The Xerox Office Services Software Suite is a platform that combined the best technology, proven process and infrastructure tools to effectively manage a customer's output assets.

This new software suite served as an entry point to understand and analyse an organisation's document management needs and thus increase the return on investment and reduce costs significantly.

Primarily Xerox Office Services Software Suite is targeted at the BFSI, Pharma and ITES sectors in India .

The XOS technology suite would provide a complete governance application suite to achieve maximum and ongoing output savings.

This platform is built on Microsoft's .Net technology, which facilitates rapid and cost effective integration into existing or future infrastructure and management systems. It is particularly powerful for integrating web-based applications.

Commenting on the launch of its new software suite, Mr. Ravi Venkatraman Director, Xerox Global Services told newsmen here that the new software suite would enable a firm to management document output and infrastructure. More than 90 per cent of organisations do not track their costs of producing and maintaining documents. This makes documents an immeasurable element of business cost, productivity and IT infrastructure. This software suite combines Xerox's document management expertise and its office consulting services to give customers a significant advantage in the race to cut costs and improve productivity.
