The state cabinet also approved construction of multi-level parking in the Hazratganj, the prime commercial area of the state capital.

In a bid to make the entire process transparent, the cabinet also approved selection of a consultant. In a bid to establish a link between the Lucknow Development Authority and the proposed consultant, a project development special purpose vehicle would be set up.

A six lane road would also be constructed between Charbagh and Kalidas Marg at a cost of Rs 30 crore. The road would be constructed over the G H Canal.
