Usha unveils unified branding strategy

Hyderabad, Feb 23 (UNI) Usha International Ltd, one of India's leading consumer durable marketing companies, today announced aggressive plans to strengthen its market share and unveiled a unified branding strategy for all its consumer durable products.

On the occasion, the company launched a new range of 25 fans between the range of Rs 1,095 to Rs 40,000. The company had also strengthened its tie-up with US-based Hunter Fan Company to tap the super premium segment in the country with the new Usha Hunter series of super premium ceiling fans.

These fans would be available in the market between a price range of Rs 10,000 to Rs 40,000.

In the super premium category, the company had launched new models of Usha Hunter fans like West Indies, Coronado and Bacall with state-of-the-art technology, according to a release.

Other segments targeted by the company included niche segments where, among other fans, the company wascoming up with a premium children's fan called 'Buddy', designed to fuel child's imagination with imaginative colours and designs.

New products had also been launched in other segments like home appliances, sewing machines, power products and others.
