Rajnath Singh sympathises for Lalu Prasad, slams Congress

Rajnath Singh sympathises for Lalu Yadav
Gaya, April 4: BJP president Rajnath Singh on Thursday slammed the Congress for ill-treating alliance partner, RJD chief Lalu Prasad.

Sympathising for Lalu, Rajnath tempted RJD supporters to avenge their leader's humiliation by supporting Narendra Modi in the Lok Sabha polls.

Addressing election meetings at Nabinagar in Aurangabad (under Karakat LS seat) and Gandhi Maidan, Aurangabad, to seek votes for NDA candidates, Upendra Kushwaha and Sushil Singh, respectively, Rajnath said Lalu supporters had nothing to gain in this election, as any gain will be that of the Congress, not the RJD, reported media.

"Congress has taken you for granted and ill-treating your leader. It is for you to pocket the humiliation or seek political revenge," Rajnath told RJD supporters.

RJD overtures to share dais with Rahul were reportedly turned down by the alliance partner even as Lalu was very much present in that district around the same time addressing an election meeting at Daudnagar.
