Salman Khan writes to Women's Commission on 'raped' woman remark
Mumbai, July 14: Bollywood actor Salman Khan has replied to the Maharashtra State Commission for Women (MSCW) after it asked the actor to apologise for his rape comment.
MSCW chief Vijaya Rahatkar told reporters: "Salman Khan has filed his response to Maharashtra State Commission For Women notice issued yesterday. The MSCW is going through contents of Salman's reply and will soon decide it's next course of action."

Meanwhile, TV reports suggest that Khan has refused to apologise to the Women's Commission stating that 'it does not have jurisdiction to take up the case.' However the contents of his reply are yet to be known.
Khan had failed to appear before the Commission twice after summons were issued to him. The Commission had issued a notice to the actor on June 22 asking him to be present before June 29. However Khan failed to do so.
NCW received a legal response from Salman's team and said it was evaluating the next step.
It all began when the actor was promoting his film 'Sultan' last month and said that 'he felt liked a raped woman while shooting the wrestling scenes for his film.' The actor however immediately said that he should not have made that analogy.
But his comments irked activists and the Women's Commission who sought an apology from him.
