Washington, June 16: A photographer captured a stunning shot of 49 birds flying over while the memorial service for 49 lives that were lost in a horrific shooting in gay nightclub in Orlando in Florida on Sunday (June 12), CNN reported.
The photo was taken at a candlelight vigil on Monday (June 13) held at Dr Phillips Performing Arts Centre. The photographer, who sought anonymity, noticed the flock while the names of the victims were being announced. She saw that there were exactly 49 birds in all and felt a sense about the tragedy, the CNN report said.
A 29-year-man called Omar Mateen, a US citizen of Afghan descent, carried out the massacre and was neutralised later.
