Speaking to Razak, Modi said that Malaysia has worked a lot on affordable housing. "We want every Indian to have a home by 2022. Have seen your companies can work in this area," he said.
Modi said: "Malaysia and India have worked together in the past. We can take this much further under your leadership."
Emphasisng on trade and investment opportunities, Modi laid emphasis on Make In India campaign and invited Malaysian companies to come to India. Razak also invited Modi to visit Malaysia.
Modi is likely to raise the black money issue at the Summit as the nations attending the Summit hold substantial amounts of India's black money.
Modi is also like to speak about better connectivity, increased trade and investement and cooperation between the ASEAN and East Asian countries.
On Tuesday, Modi held a meeting with Myanmarese President Thein Sein and the two sides focused on issues related to connectivity, cultural contacts and commercial ties.
