PM Narendra Modi remembers Bhagat Singh on his birth anniversary
San Jose, Sept 28: Prime Minister Narendra Modi today remembered freedom fighter Bhagat Singh on his birth anniversary while he was addressing the Indian diaspora at the SAP Centre here.
Modi began his speech by saying, 'Today is 27th September and it's 28th September in India which is the birth anniversary of shaheed Bhagat Singh.' [Shaheed Bhagat Singh's 108th birth anniversary: Facts to know about him]

"I bow down to him," he said. The crowd responded 'Amar Rahe' to Modi when he said "Veer Bhagat Singh."
Meanwhile, Modi said that he was trying his best to live upto everybody's expectations as the prime minister. "Today, India is looked up to with hopes and dreams. This change is not because of me, but because of 1.25 billion Indians," he said.
