Bengaluru, Nov 12: A 30-year-old woman has allegedly been gangraped near a club in Bengaluru. Following the complaint the police have arrested two security guards working at the club. The lady a resident of Tumkur had come on Wednesday, Nov 11 to the club to enroll as a member.
However, she was told to come back the next day in order to complete the formalities. The lady decided to stay back in Bengaluru and even took up accommodation near the club. According to the complaint, two security guards had been watching her all along.
It was around 9 PM when she left the club and was on her way to the hotel. The guards told her that they would help her reach the hotel as it had become dark by then. However, when they reached near the Siddaganga circle, the two guards are alleged to raped her.
The police have registered a complaint and even arrested the two security guards.
A complaint under Section 376 of the Indian Penal Code has been filed against the two accused persons. The police have subjected both the victim and the accused persons to a medical test. Investigations are on and the statements of both the accused as well as the victim will be recorded shortly.
