UP: Massive fire breaks out in Meerut's slum

A massive Fire broke out in slums in Meerut's Lisari area; more than 10 fire tenders were present at the spot. No casualties have been reported so far. However, the cause of the fire was ascertained.

The fire filed the area with the heavy smoke cloud which persisted there for several hours.

Earlier on April 28, at least 100 huts in the slum were gutted in the fire. Several fire engines rushed to the spot to douse the fire. And no casualties were reported.
