Hacked? :Curious tweets sent to Pak journo from Tharoor's account
New Delhi, Jan 15: Minister of State for Human Resource Development Shashi Tharoor has been in 'Twitter' controversies many times. On Wednesday afternoon, a set of embarrassing tweets were sent from Tharoor's Twitter account, directed at a Pakistani columnist Mehr Tarar.

Tharoor later clarified that his account was hacked. Some of the messages were very bizarre that they were retweeted by many people. "@mehrtarar I love you, Shashi Tharoor. And I go while in love with you, irrevocably, irreversibly, hamesha. Bleeding, but always your Mehr", read one of the tweets.

Meanwhile, the Pakistani columnist was equally surprised to see the Tweets and she replied, "Okay. What's going on? Who's tweeting to me? I had an 'affair' with Shashi Tharoor and he's tweeting to me??? How does that work?"

After a few more embarrassing tweets, Shashi Tharoor's clarifying message arrived, "Sorry folks, my @Twitter account has been hacked & will be temporarily deactivated. Bear with me while we solve this."

Mehr Tarar's Twitter account was flooded with tweets from followers and others, who demanded clarification from her. "I never said my account was hacked. These tweets from Dr Tharoor's account reached me just as they reached you. NOT funny, people.", tweeted an upset Mehr.

The embarrassing set of tweets also had reference to Tharoor's wife Sunanda Pushkar. "@mehrtarar sadly my wife @sptvrock who gave up everything for me found out about my affair with u Mehr Shashi. I'm not crying any more. I'm not falling to pieces. I'm more lucid than ever. How little I knew you became visible to me", said one of the tweets.

Sunanda Pushkar had also claimed that her Twitter account was hacked on Jan 4, after tweets criticizing BJP leader Subramanian Swamy appeared on her account.
