New Delhi, Feb 24: At a time when Hyderabad has been crowned as best Indian city to live in, here is a shocking story from the same city.

Reportedly, more than 400 students of the 40-year-old Smt Durgabai Deshmukh Women's Technical Training Institute at Ameerpet have to 'pee' in the open as college doesn't have any 'functional' toilet in its campus.

'Swachh Bharat' shocker!

According to a TOI report, whenever girls have to answer nature's call, they look for any secluded area of the college campus or abandoned' classroom. Most shocking thing is neither the college administration nor the Government authorities are paying attention to it.

In past, students requested college principal many a times to sort out the issue but their plea failed to yield any result. A student was quoted as saying, "We are adjusting by peeing wherever we can".

College principal Suresh Janga was quoted by TOI as saying, "We are forced to live here. The present building is just a temporary arrangement. The toilets that we have are abandoned. Since the building will be dismantled, we cannot repair it".

College administration further said that they had also written a letter to Telangana chief minister and women and child welfare department about the problem. Whimpering about the lackadaisical approach of the government, administration said that Government never replied back over the same.

"The toilets in the institution are untidy. Neither are they cleaned regularly nor are there any proper facilities. The girl students of the institution are facing much difficulty while using the toilets", letter said.
