The Bharatiya Janata Party chief Amit Shah has thanked the people of Delhi for supporting the party in the Delhi Municipal Corporation polls.

While addressing the press conference in Kolkata, Shah said, the MCD results is the triumph of Prime Minister Narendra Modiji's pro-poor programmes and policy of Sabka saath-sabka Vikas.

The people of Delhi have rejected negative politics, he added.

According to recent trends, the BJP is leading in 180 seats, Congress in 35 seats and AAP in 45 seats.
