Man's 'hijack' maneuvers to impress Air India airhostess runs him into trouble
Hyderabad, April 22: A lecherous passenger in an Air India flight landed up in the right place (police custody) when he went overboard in impressing an air hostess. In a flight from Dubai to Hyderabad, the man Yusuf Shareef (35), tried to attract the attention of the air hostess several times during the entire course of the flight.
A resident of Mehdipatnam, Yusuf asked the hostess to take him to the cockpit for a photograph. Then he allegedly asked her to pose with him for a selfie. He also made sure that she was at his service all the time-serving him drinks and snacks. Frustrated by his failed attempts, he mentioned the word 'hijack' while trying to blabber about himself.

Worried, the air hostess went back and informed her colleagues and senior about it. According to the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA) police,"After the flight landed at the airport, the police took him into custody."
Despite Yusuf's pleads that he was just playing a prank on the air hostess, the police did not listen. They have now started digging out the man's background and personal details, even when a case of 'threat' has been registered against him. AR Srinivas, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Shamshabad said "he appears to be stable. It seems he extended his conversation a bit too much and got into trouble. He claims it was a prank. We are investigating."
