Jayalalithaa congratulates Pinarayi Vijayan
Chennai, May 30: Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa today congratulated CPI(M) politburo member Pinarayi Vijayan, who took over the reins of new government in Kerala.
"I congratulate you on being sworn in as the Chief Minister of Kerala after the resounding victory of the Left Democratic Front in the recent elections to the Kerala State Assembly," Jayalalithaa said in her letter to Vijayan here.

"I convey my best wishes to you to lead the state of Kerala to an era of growth and prosperity under your able leadership," she said.
The CPI(M)-led-LDF was elected to power in the May 16 assembly polls with a comfortable majority of 91 seats in the 140-member assembly.
