Flash sale: Jet Airways, Air Asia offer promotional fares

New Delhi, Dec 2: Jet Airways and AirAsia India have launched yet another flash sale of promotional fare on advance bookings.

On select domestic routes on economy class travel, Jet Airways is offering all-inclusive fares as low as Rs 1,974. However, the tickts must be purchased on or before March 31, 2015. Moreover, the tickets should be booked 90 days in advance from the time of departure. The tickets under this Jet Airways offer are non-refundable but date change is allowed at a charge of Rs 2,000.

Meanwhile, budget carrier AirAsia India is offering promotional fares as low as Rs 1290 in a limited period offer. AirAsia India recently added Pune to its network.

The travel period is valid between January 5, 2015, and April 30, 2015.

Surpeisingly, many airlines have come up with promotional offers this year, in order to boost passenger traffic. These promotions proved to be a great boost for the aviation industry too between January to October 2014 were 5.5 crore as against 5.07 crore during the corresponding period of previous year, a growth of 8.61 per cent.
