Cong will fade away from political space and become history, says NCP chief Sharad Pawar
Pune, Feb 9: With the exit polls predicting only 0-2 seats for Congress in Delhi, many have started saying that the party would slowly and gradually fade away from the politics of the country and NCP Chief Sharad Pawar also said the same at his party's state convention in Pune.
"We have to quickly fill the vacuum left by the Congress party, the labour class in the country, women and minorities feel that they have no representation, our party must take the leadership and challenge the rulers" Pawar was quoted as saying in an ET report.
We must occupy the space of Opposition party. The RSS is playing the communal card," Pawar further added in daily's report.
Pawar not only slammed Congress but also took a dig at the BJP and said that the issues like ghar wapsi, Love jihad, conversions etc were big challenges for the party as well as the country and would not pose a threat to the party but will also affect the unity of India.
