Bengaluru: Software engineer found dead under mysterious circumstances

Bengaluru, Sept 4: In a shocking incident, a software engineer was found dead inside her apartment in South East Bengaluru on Thursday.

The 30-year-old who was found dead under mysterious circumstances has been identified as Chetana Ramachandran, a native of Chandigarh.

According to a TOI report, "A senior staff with First Flight courier service in Vimanapura, Chetana was living separately from her husband Ramachandran, neighbours told

. Chetana is survived by husband Ramachandran and two year old son. Ramachandran is a software engineer with private company in Pune."

"The main door was ajar and I walked inside the house around nine am. I was shocked to see her lying unconscious inside the bathroom. She had vomited and her son was sleeping inside the room," Usha, Chetana's maid was quoted as saying in the report.

"She breathed her last little later and we suspect that she might have consumed poison. Or else, she might have died of cardiac arrest," police was quoted as saying.

Chetana had applied for divorce and after knowing about her death, both Chetana's parents and her husband will be coming down to Bengaluru.
