3-year-old raped, accused held in Noida

Greater Noida, March 2 : A three-year-old girl was allegedly raped by her neighbour in Jewar area here. The accused committed the crime yesterday at the girl's home, police said, adding that she was found lying unconscious by neighbours.

The accused was arrested today. "Rape case has been registered at Jewar police station. The accused was arrested. The victim is admitted to a hospital," said Arvind Kumar Singh Deputy Superintendent of Police. Police said that during interrogation the accused said that he had also raped a 7-year-old girl in the past and was arrested then.

He had come out of jail on bail few months ago.
