Narendra Modi to visit Telangana on August 7
Hyderabad, July 26: According to inside sources at the Centre, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will embark on his maiden visit to Telangana on August 7. He will be arriving at the Begumpet airport by a special flight on August 7 at 1 pm.
A communique has already reached the state government. After the ceremonial welcome at the airport, he will take a helicopter to Ramagundam in Karimnagar district at 1.45 pm. Here, he will set the foundation stone for the 1600 MW thermal plant of the National Thermal Power Corporation.
Modi will also set the foundation for the revival of the Ramagundam Fertilisers plant at the same venue. Going forward, his itinerary will include visits to Jaipur in Adilabad district at 2.25 pm.
There, he will dedicate the 1200 MW Singareni Thermal Plant to the nation before going to Warangal at 3.10 pm. There he would set the foundation for the Kakatiya Textile Park, which has been taken up by the Central government.
