Bangalore, July 13: The week since last Sunday has been an eventful one. Serial blasts in a Buddhist shrine, a top Bollywood undergoing brain surgery, the demise of a legendary actor of yesteryear, a massive controversy over an interview of Narendra Modi, serious flood situations in several parts of northern and north-eastern India and many more.

Amid the agony, there were also some occasions to celebrate. Like, the Rath Yatra and Ramadan. India's sensational victory in West Indies, an Assam pugilist's bagging a crown and a British male's winning the Wimbledon after a gap of 77 years were also noteworthy.
