Rajasthan Horror: Baby dies after father bites lips, nose

and killing the infant? This has happened in Siyana village near Bikaner in

. Media reports say critically injured baby died in a Jaipur hospital on Wednesday, Feb 6.

Earlier, the baby was bitten by her abusive father. When the mother reported the case, the man's family threw her and her infant from the house.

Initially, the injured infant was admitted to a hospital in Bikaner but was moved to a Jaipur hospital as her conditions worsened.

Doctors performed cosmetic surgery on the baby. They reconstructed her lips and nose. They claimed the surgery was successful, reports said.

The doctors claimed her conditions were improving and that she was stable. However, she was kept in the ICU as a precautionary measure.

On Tuesday night, her conditions worsened and she was put on ventialtor. Eventually, she succumbed to her injuries.

The case is in clear contrast of the story of a another father from Rajasthan, who used to carry his baby girl to his work.

With no one to look after his newborn daughter Damini, Bablu, a rickshaw puller's from Bharatpur used to carry the child in a sling around his neck, while he ferry passengers in his vehicle.

Rickshaw puller Bablu's wife died during delivery in September 2012, leaving behind a premature baby girl with anaemia.
