Delhi dumping ground for unidentified dead bodies?

Chidambaram, in a letter to Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit, suggested that most of the unidentified bodies being recovered in the city are from the neighbouring states, sources said.
Dikshit earlier this month had met Chidambaram, flagging her concern over recovery of around 860 unidentified bodies in the last four months and urged him to direct police to examine the issue seriously. She said the recovery of the bodies created panic among the citizens.
According to government data, 858 bodies have been recovered from Delhi this year till May 1. Last year, a total of 3,337 bodies were recovered.
