Paris, Jul 5: Looks like the former IMF Chief Dominique Strauss-Kahn's road to peace is filled with obstacles and thorns. After he managed to come clean out of the sexual assault case involving a Manhattan hotel maid which literally cost him his job, there is a fresh allegation that is sure to ruin Kahn's happiness in the coming days.

A French writer has come up with molestation claims and has accused him of attempted rape. The writer, Tristane Banon claims that she was assaulted in 2003 with her lawyer stating that she, "truly suffered what she accuses Strauss-Kahn of doing." The lawyer added that he will file a case in this regard. Meanwhile, Kahn's high profile lawyers are set to counter the claim by filing a counter-complaint of slander.

His earlier case involving the hotel maid is falling apart with questions raised on the reputation of the maid and allegations thrown that she was a "part-time hooker". But, the lawyer for Banon, David Koubbi said his case was “extremely solid". The lawyer also added, "What happens in the US is no concern of ours," on the clean chit given to him on his trial in Manhattan.

The writer was apparently assaulted after she had gone to meet Kahn for an interview. He attacked her in Feb 2003 pinning her to the floor. She called him a “a chimpanzee in rut" later. Khan however dismissed her claims by calling her account “imaginary". His lawyer, Henri Leclerc et Frederique Baulieu had backed his claim.
