BJP to hold 'Maha Sangram Rally' in Gorakhpur
The party's national president Nitin Gadkari, general secretary Narendra Singh Tomar, MPs Lalji Tanodon and Kalraj Misra will be among the speakers at the rally, BJP's state president Surya Pratap Shahi told reporters here today.
He said the party will make people aware that the UPA-II government at the Centre and the BSP government in the state have become symbols of ''Bhaya, Bhookh and Bhrashtachar'' (fear, hunger and corruption) and will ask the people to uproot both the governments.
BJP will start a state-wide protest to make people aware of the anti-people policies of both the governments, he said.
He further said the incident in Bhatta-Parsaul villages of Gautam Buddha Nagar has revealed the anti-people face of ''Sarvajan Hitaya'' of the Mayawati-led UP government while several scandals including the 2G spectrum and Commonwealth games scams have marked the first two years of UPA-II at the Centre.
