Cong stages walkout from Chg Assembly over price-rise, favour
Raipur, Feb 24 (PTI) The opposition Congress staged awalkout from the Chhattisgarh Assembly twice today over thealleged favour shown by the state government to a privatecompany and rising inflation.
Congress MLA Shakajit Naik raised the issue of actiontaken against black-marketeers.
Not satisfied with Food and Civil Supplies MinisterPunnulal Mohle''s reply, the Congress legislators alleged thatthe government''s inaction in this regard was leading to pricerise of food items and staged a walkout.
Later, after the proceedings resumed, Congress MLAMohammad Akbar alleged that the government amended the layoutplan of the Industrial Growth Centre at village Borai in Durgdistrict to favour a company.
He claimed that the revision of the plans benefitedPushpa Steel Company.
Again not satisfied with the government''s reply, theystaged a walkout.
