Opposition would not accept anything short of JPC: Sharad

Saharsha(Bihar), Feb 15 (PTI) JD(U) national presidentSharad Yadav today said the opposition would not acceptanything short of a JPC to probe into 2G spectrum scam.

"We will accept nothing short of a JPC probe into the 2Gspectrum scam," Yadav told reporters here before leaving forNew Delhi.

Yadav said the opposition leaders had already reiteratedtheir stand on JPC during the February eight meeting withUnion Finance minister Pranab Mukherjee.

He justified the demand of Bihar Chief Minister NitishKumar for a special package which was promised by the Centreafter the mineral rich areas in Bihar went to Jharkhand afterbifurcation of state in 2000.
