Bristol Palin on Kathy Griffin's joke: It shows her immaturity

New York, Feb 10 (ANI): Bristol Palin has hit back at actress/comedian Kathy Griffin's joke about her having gained weight while competing on "Dancing with the Stars".

While hosting the 'VH1 Divas Salute the Troops' special, the comedian had poked fun at Palin, 20, calling her "the white Precious" - a reference to the 2009 film about an obese teen dealing with abuse, disease, and pregnancy.

Griffin, 50, went on to say Palin was "the only contestant in the history of 'Dancing with the Stars' to gain weight on the show".

According to E! News, Palin said that she did not hold a grudge against the actress.

"It's weird that she would pick on my weight. She's had botched liposuction procedures and stuff like that," the New York Daily News quoted Palin as saying.

"It's just weird that she would pick on something like that for another woman.

"It didn't hurt my feelings because it was coming from Kathy Griffin of all people, and I think it just shows her immaturity.

I don't think that stuff's funny at all. Just very strange," she stated. (ANI)
