Never seen Rs 6 cr together: 'Big star' Priyanka

Mumbai, Feb 1: The two top Bollywood actresses Priyanka Chopra and Katrina Kaif experienced an I-T bash recently. After the Income Tax (I-T) raids in their residences, Priyanka Chopra now started giving statements in public.

Ms Chopra, while addressing media in Mumbai, stated, "As far as the discovery of Rs 6 crore from my house, neither I had so much of money under my mattress nor I have seen so much of money together in my life."

She also stated, "As people say that it happens with big stars. I still feel proud that I am counted among the few highest tax paying Bollywood stars and hope to be so as long God continues to give me the opportunity."

The I-T officials claimed to seize a whopping Rs 6 crore from Priyanka's Mumbai's flat. Though Priyanka's spokesperson and Charter Accountant (CA) gave a public statement after the raids.

According the spokesperson of Priyanka, "First of all, no unaccounted cash was seized from her residence. And if there are some purchases - or documents related to some purchases - which were detected and there is no immediate clarity about the source of funds for them, the matter will have to be investigated further."

However, the question remains - is Rs 6 crore really a big amount for 'big star' like Priyanka. Well, people are intelligent enough to understand everything.
