New Delhi, Aug 27: The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) issued a strongly worded demarche to China describing India's anger on China's refusal of visa to an Indian Army official from Jammu and Kashmir (JK).

China refused the visa to Lt General BS Jaswal, General Officer Commanding in Chief in JK, with a reason that the officer in question serves in JK, which China considers as a disputed area.

On Friday, Aug 27, different Indian media reported that India cancelled all defence exchanges with China. The visa rejection decision by the Chinese government broke out diplomatic war between the two countries.

Angered by Beijing"s move, India barred two Chinese defence officials from visiting India.
