Saying sorry goes down best through the right ear
London, Feb 2 (ANI): The next time you say sorry to a person, please speak into his or her's right ear because apologies go down best through right ear, a study has concluded.
As for explanation, boffins said that when people are angry, the right ear becomes more receptive to sound than the left.
To reach the conclusion, scientists carried out hearing tests on 30 young men who had been worked up into a fury, reports The Telegraph.
In the study published in the journal Hormones and Behaviour, researchers from the University of Valencia found that when angry, the participants' right ears were significantly more susceptible to sound.
However, there was no change in the left ear, according to the research.
It is so because the left side of the brain processes sounds that come in through the right ear, researchers believe.
If anger activates it, noise from the right, but not the left, will be heard more keenly. (ANI)
