Rahul-Headley links: Protests against 'Tum Mile'
Ahmedabad, Nov 17: Amid reports of a link between Bollywood filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt's son, Rahul Bhatt and the terror suspect, David Coleman Headley, party workers of Mahagujarat Janata Party (MJP) stormed a movie theatre in Rajkot and tried to stop the screening of Mahesh Bhatt"s latest film 'Tum Mile'.
The party of former Gujarat home minister Godhan Zadafia is also demanding a state-wide ban on the film.
Zadafia has revealed that MJP has asked all the cinemas and multiplex owners in the state to stop the screening of the film which was released on Friday, Nov 13.
At a multiplex on Kalavad Road, MJP workers went on a rampage protesting against the film and shouting slogans against the filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt.
On Monday, Nov 16, shows of 'Tum Mile' starring Imran Hashmi and Soha Ali Khan were cancelled following threats from MJP, say media reports.
