H1N1 kills 6 more; India's toll rises to 380

New Delhi, Oct 10: Swine Flu has claimed another six victims' lives taking the country's H1N1 death toll to 380.

Out of the six fatalities, four were reported from Andhra Pradesh. With these deaths the states toll mounts to 42. Reporting two H1N1 fatalities, Karnataka's death toll rises to 108.

Although the two deaths of a 40-year-old man at Bangalore government hospital and a a 25-year-old woman at a private hospital in Gadag took place on Oct 5 and 6, the test results confirming H1N1 were received only on Oct 8.

According to official health ministry data 149 fresh cases have reported across the country taking the total infections from the H1N1 virus to 11,656.
