Racial attacks: Indians students rally in Sydney

Melbourne, Jun 7: Hundreds of Indian students on Sunday, Jun 7 took out a massive rally in Sydney to protest against the racial attacks targeting the Indian community.

Federation of Indian Students Association (FISA), Sydney Chaper, along with the National Union Student organised the rally. The protesters marched from Townhall to High Park in Sydney, shouting anti-racism slogans. Sources said that the students propose to organise another rally in Brisbane too.

On Sunday, Jun 7, thousands of Indian students demanded justice for victims of recent attacks, including 25-year-old Shravan Kumar who was seriously injured after being stabbed with a screwdriver by a group of teenagers who also assaulted his three Indian friends.
