Washington, Nov 28 : Hollywood actress Demi Moore says that she has learnt to ease off on her tough gym sessions after she nearly killed herself.
The 'Ghost' actress, who spent hours getting in shape for tough roles in action films such as 1997's G.I. Jane and Charlie's Angles: Full Throttle in 2003, has quit working out too much in fear of hitting the grave early.
"I must admit that I did nearly kill myself years ago, but I've not had that kind of time for quite a while. There was a time when I took on several film roles that made it absolutely necessary for me to be buff, but I took it a bit too far I think," Contactmusic quoted her as saying.
Demi says that she walks instead of running for long hours.
"I used to love running, but I have replaced that with brisk walking - it's less impact on the bones. I also do Pilates to stretch and elongate the muscles, and some lightweights. I don't kill myself any more," Demi added.
