Haj flight from Indore cancelled from Nov 25 to 27
Bhopal, Nov 25 (UNI) In view of deputation of central government employees on poll duty in Madhya Pradesh, Haj flight has been cancelled from Indore's embarcation point from November 25 to 27, this year, official sources said.
Owing to lack of security arrangement and custom officials during the elections, the authority had decided to cancel the flight for three days, sources said adding that there would, however, be no cancellation of flights for Haj from Nagpur embarkation point.
Madhya Pradesh State Haj Committee Executive Officer A W Qureshi said that the Central Haj Committee, Mumbai, had requested the Air India to make arrangement for flights from Indore for November 28 and 29.
All Haj pilgrims were intimated about the change in schedule and further information regarding new schedule would be flashed through newspapers, TV and telephones, Mr Qureshi added.
