Pawar assures protection to North Indians in Mumbai
Mumbai, Nov 14 (UNI) Union Agriculture Minister and NCP supremo Sharad Pawar today assured security to the North Indians in Mumbai and said they will be protected throughly.
Speaking at a public meeting organised by Congress-NCP here late night, Mr Pawar, in a sarcastic remark on Thackeray family, said if they (Raj Thackeray and Uddhav Thackeray) could not keep their family together, they should not trouble the people.
Referring to the arrest of several Hindu suspected terrorist, Mr Pawar said those who were advocating for POTA were then criticising the actions of Anti-Terrorist Squad.
Chief Minister Vilasrao Deshmukh also assured protection to outsiders and criticised those who were targetting them.
