Ford India launches new Ikon range
Pune, Nov 12 (UNI) Ford India today unveiled its new Ikon range with an advanced DuraTorq TDCi engine for superior fuel efficiency, here.
Speaking to mediapersons, Ford India president Michael Boneham said the new Ford Ikon continues to be a leader in its segment and caters to customers with a combination of superior fuel efficiency, improved engine performance, best-in-class drivability and exceptional value for money.
He said the latest generation 1.4-litre DuraTorq TDCi engine transforms the way the new Ikon, which also boasts a freshened exterior design with distinct European cues like sharper new hood design and striking new headlamps to the all-new front bumper with its larger lower grill, drives.
''Increasing fuel prices is a big concern to the Indian consumers. Considering this, Ford has introduced the advanced 1.4-litre DuraTorq TDCi engine in the new Ikon to complement the current 1.3-litre petrol engine, offering consumers the choice of two of the best powertrains, tailored to suit Indian driving conditions,'' he added.
