Shah Rukh Khan turns 43
Mumbai, Nov 2 (UNI) Bollywood's biggest star Shah Rukh Khan, who has dominated the movie scenario for the last 16 years since his debut in 1992 in 'Deewana' and achieved phenomenal success and popularity, turned 43 today.
Khan, who moved from New Delhi to Mumbai, the land of dreams, in 1991, acted in 64 films, most of them Blockbusters, to become the super hero. Subsequently, he became producer and the Farah Khan directed films 'Main hoon Na' and 'Om Shanti Om' became the biggest grossers.
His latest film, the Aditya Chopra-directed 'Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi', under the Yashraj films banner, is due for release on December 12. The song promo of the film was being aired today to mark his birthday.
The actor's wife Gauri Khan has invited only a few of the star's associates and close friends for the birthday celebrations tonight at his renovated Bungalow-cum-building 'Mannat' in Suburban Bandra, facing the sea, which has become a tourist attraction.
