Domestic help convicted of rape and murder

New Delhi, Oct 4 (UNI) A Delhi Court today convicted a domestic help on charges of rape of a minor girl and murder of a four-year-old boy.

Sanjay Dass worked as a domestic help with a businessman in Shakti Nagar area of North Delhi. On January 19, 2006, he had allegedly raped a minor daughter of the businessman and injured another daughter. Later, he murdered the four-year-old son of the businessman. He had also removed the rings from the victims' fingers.

Additional Session's judge Babulal convicted Dass under section 302, 307, 376 and 379 of IPC. The court will pronounce the quantum of sentence on October 16.
