Bomb scare in Mehrauli two days after blast
New Delhi, Sept 29: Police today conducted searches in South Delhi's Mehrauli area, where a low-intensity explosion took place two days ago, after receiving an anonymous call that a bomb has been placed there.
According to sources, the call was received this morning saying a bomb has been placed near a school.
Bomb disposal teams and dog squads are conducting searches in the area.
On Saturday, a teenaged boy was killed when a bomb exploded in a crowded flower market in Mehrauli. Riding a black motorcycle, two men in black dress and wearing helmets, dropped a black polythene bag containing a tiffin box.
Security has been beefed up at important places in Mumbai, including railway stations on Central, Western, Harbour Lines, and places of worship at Chennai following the blast.
