Advani and Fernandes discuss attacks on minorities

{image-Advani and Fernandes_27092008.jpg news.oneindia.in}New Delhi, Sept 27: Senior BJP leader and Leader of the Opposition L K Advani called on NDA Convenor George Fernandes on Friday, Sep 27 discussed the attacks on minorities in Orissa and Karnataka.

Former Home Minister of Nagaland Mr Thenucho Tunyi who was present in the meeting along with former Samata Party chief Jaya Jaitley said Mr Advani expressed his concern about the attacks, strongly condemned the violence and wanted the State Governments to provide all protection, help and assistance to the victims irrespective of their community. Mr Advani, Mr Fernandes and all leaders agreed that the two States should make every effort to bring back peace and harmony in the society.
