SDF calls Sikkim bandh on Sept 29
Gangtok, Sep 23 (UNI) The ruling Sikkim Democratic Front (SDF) today called a 24-hour Sikkim bandh on September 29 in protest against the effigy torching incident of Chief Minister Pawan Chamling.
The decision to call the statewide bandh was taken during a high-level meeting of the SDF, party sources informed.
During the meeting, the SDF high command concluded that the allegations of being a foreign national levelled at its party leader and Chief Minister deserved condemnation.
