CM calls for strengthening tourism infrastructure in Goa
Panaji, Aug 30 (UNI) Chief Minister Digambar Kamat today called for further strengthening of the infrastructure facilities in Goa for boosting tourism.
Inaugurating a two-day conference on 'Green Infrastructure', organised by the Goa Institute of Management here, the Chief Minister said adequate infrastructure was necesary to cope with the demand of increasing number of tourists, both domestic and foreign.
The key speakers included former Union minister Dr Suresh Prabhu, BARC scientists Dr Sabharwal and Dr Sharad Kale, representative of the Union ministry of Renewable Energy Resources, Ahmar Raza and Anil Kane, president of the World Wind Energy Association.
