Visakhapatnam, Aug 24 (UNI) Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Senior Leader M Venkaiah Naidu today demanded the Monsoon Session of Parliament be convened immediately.
Talking to newspersons here, he alleged the UPA Government was unable to face the present situation with various issues like Amarnath Temple Row in Jammu and Kashmir and price rise across the country.
Mr Naidu said people were moving away from the Congress and it would be clear after the assembly elections to be held in 12 states, as since 2004 it had failed to secure comfortable seats in almost ten states.
The BJP leader said the party would come back to power soon, as there was no third front in the country and only BJP-led NDA and Congress-led-UPA would be the main contestants in the coming elections.
He also said the formation of new states was possible only if the BJP came to power with majority, as it was the NDA which facilitated creation of Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand and Uttarakhand.
Mr Naidu alleged the UPA were unable to control terrorism in the country.
