Nagpur, August 17 : Nagpur on Sunday staged a unique event when more than fifty twins from different age groups walked the ramp during a fashion show.

The exclusive event titled 'Judwa No.1' was organised by Junior Chambers of International Orange City Nagpur to showcase the talent of the participating twins.

Sunil Patil, President, Junior Chambers of International Orange City, Nagpur said that he wanted Nagpur to be known as the 'city of twins' which till now was synonymous as Orange City because of the delicious juicy oranges produced in and around this city.

"For the last three years we are working on the concept of forming a twins club. We want to give as many twins as possible a platform to showcase their talent. We want that Nagpur should become synonymous with twins club as it is synonymous with orange city currently," said Patil.

The participants were grouped into six categories based on their age, which ranged from six months and upwards. It was an interstate event with twins pouring in from all over Maharashtra and neighbouring Chhattisgarh.

The twins set the ramp on fire in their trendiest of clothes, the ones who were too young to talk on the ramp were accompanied by their parents. The show also included not so young.

The participants hoped that events such as these would become an annual feature.

"We are enjoying ourselves here a lot as every one here is a twin and I hope that this programme will be organised every year," said Isha, one of the participant.

Twins were happy to see their likes and felt happy after seeing so many twins.

"We are feeling very good as every one here is a twin. Earlier we used to feel only we are like this but after coming here we feel that there are others like us," said another twin, Harshada.

The twins neither belonged to Bollywood nor to glamour world nor to the sports arena yet they proved to be celebrities in their own right as they put the ramp on fire.
