Good days are ahead: Chiranjeevi

Hyderabad, Aug 15: Telugu Matinee Idol Chiranjeevi, who is expected to plunge into politics later this month, on Friday, Aug 15 hoisted tricolour at his recently inaugurated office and said Andhra Pradesh would witness good days soon. Mr Chiranjeevi, clad in white cotton kurta, along with his supporters including his political advisor, Dr P Mitra and his brother-in-law and film producer Allu Arvind, sung the national anthem in chorus on the occasion of I-Day.

Going down the memory lane, the actor recalled his college days and said he had imbibed discipline while he was in the NCC. 'I am excited today,' he said. Extending wishes to the people, the Telugu film star told mediapersons 'good days will come to the state soon.' Well before the launch of his party, the actor has inaugurated the party office in the midnight of Sunday, Aug 10.

Later, he interacted with the physically challenged students and spent some time in the office premises.

Meanwhile, Opposition Telugu Desam Party (TDP) President and former Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu surrounded by his followers, hoisted national flag at Anantapur where he was touring as part of his 'Mee Kosam' Yatra.

Andhra Pradesh Assembly Speaker K R Suresh Reddy hoisted the flag at Assembly, while the APCC president D Srinivas at Gandhi Bhavan, CPI State secretary K Narayana at Makdhum Bhavan and BJP State President Bandaru Dattatraya participated in the celebrations.
